Project Scope

Graycor Industrial conducted an upgrade to improve WCI Steel’s galvanizing capabilities at its Warren, Ohio, plant. The project involved upgrading the control center and entry and exit of the continuous galvanizing line as well as installing a new pickling tank and 1500-KVA transformer.

Past partnering assignments for WCI Steel included a $12-million blast furnace reline and a $2-million silicon line cleaning modification.
